Processes that generate a responsible return
Aware of its environmental responsibilities, Mundial SA maintains effluent treatment systems in the plants of Caxias do Sul and Gravataí/RS.
Reduction in waste generation
The treatment of the solid waste generated follows internal separation procedures through selective collection, which allows the segmentation of recyclable materials, such as paper, plastic, glass, etc. All recyclable material from selective collection is packed in specific collectors and sent to licensed recycling companies, providing a better use of these materials.
The non-recyclable waste generated in the production processes are segregated and safely destined for processes of co-processing and processing of waste that guarantee a more sustainable reuse cycle, as a source of energy in other industrial processes.

Reuse practices that generate sustainable cycles
Concerned with sustainable development, Mundial SA applies in its brands in the segments of Food Service, Personal Care and Cosmetics, the practice of Reverse Logistics. The objective of this practice at Mundial SA is to receive end-of-life products for reuse in its cycle, in other production cycles, or to seek other forms of environmentally appropriate final disposal, ensuring a sustainable life cycle in post-consumer solid waste management.
